Top 10 EOR Providers for Hiring in the Czech Republic (2027)
The Czech test is the agency licence. An EOR employs the person and assigns them to you: agency employment under section 307a of the Labour Code, reserved by the Employment Act to agencies licensed by MPSV with CZK 500,000 on deposit. Most global providers write "covered" and stop there. I read each record for the entity it names here and what it says about the licence. Only one names a Czech office. Ask the others in writing.
How I scored this list
Five things weighted unequally.
Agency licence under the Employment Act, 35%
Whether the record names an MPSV-licensed Czech entity, or at least an owned entity. A licence number the reader can look up in the MPSV register scores full; "covered" with no entity scores low; a partner model scores lowest.
Czech entity in the obchodní rejstřík, 25%
An s.r.o. or a.s. with an IČO the provider gives in writing, so the extract on justice.cz can be pulled. A record that says "owned entities in 100+ markets" without naming the Czech one gets partial credit.
Payroll handling at Czech rates, 15%
The 24.8% and 9% employer split, the CZK 2,350,416 social ceiling, the 15/23% wage-tax step and the monthly ČSSZ and health-insurer filings, with sick pay at 60% for the first 14 days on the employer.
Central European scale, 15%
Offices or entities in the neighbouring markets (Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia) and how many employees the record says are managed in the region.
Pricing transparency, 10%
A published per-employee fee in CZK, EUR or USD with setup and offboarding fees stated. "On request" costs points.
The three I'd flag before you scroll.
Spotlight #1
WorkMotion is the European compliance pick: IEC Gold certified since September 2025, SOC 2 and ISO 27001, 160+ countries from €499 a month. WorkDirect (€399 / $429) registers you as the direct employer in 21 European markets, which sidesteps the agency licence question entirely. The record does not name the Czech entity; ask for the IČO.
Spotlight #2
Deel runs the broadest platform in the list: 150+ countries, owned entities in 100+ markets, $599 a month with setup from $0 to $1,000 by market. Its record says owned entities, not which one employs staff in Prague or whether it holds the MPSV licence. Both are a one-line question before the MSA.
Spotlight #3
Remote is the owned-entity purist: 100% owned entities in 90+ countries, no partners, $599 a month on annual billing or $699 month to month, $0 setup and $0 termination. G2 ranks it first for EOR compliance. The record does not say whether the Czech entity is a licensed agency; the no-partner model makes that answer easier to get.
Workmotion

Parakar
Parakar. Breda-based EU-only specialist, offices and owned entities in 10 European markets, about $750 a month plus a $750 setup fee, no self-service platform. The record does not name the ten; ask whether Prague is one. Best for buyers who want an in-person European HR team.
Playroll
Playroll. $399 a month, no setup or offboarding fees, no minimum commitment, 180+ countries, a named contact for employer and employee, VAT IT Group behind it. The record says nothing about a Czech entity. Best for SMBs that want a flat price and a person to call.
LMW HR Group

Every provider on this list can post its badge. Free, no form: copy the code and paste it on your site. The link back to this list is the only condition, and the badge follows the ranking when it is refreshed.
The badge links to the ranking it refers to, is not altered, and comes down if the provider leaves the list.
How to verify a Czech EOR before signing.
Five tests to verify a Czech EOR provider before signing.
Step 1
Ask for the legal name and IČO of the Czech entity that will sign the employment contract, then pull the extract from the obchodní rejstřík on justice.cz. It should be an s.r.o. or a.s. with an active status and a registered seat in the country. A provider that names a foreign group company or "our local partner" has not answered.
Step 2
Ask for the agency employment licence number. The EOR employs your hire and assigns them to you, which is agency employment under section 307a of the Labour Code, and section 58 of the Employment Act (435/2004) requires a licence from MPSV with a CZK 500,000 deposit. Check the number in the MPSV register of licensed agencies. No number, no deal.
Step 3
Ask for a potvrzení o bezdlužnosti, the no-arrears certificate, from ČSSZ and from the health insurer, dated within the last month, plus proof of the tax office registration. Arrears on the employer's account become your problem the day the agency stops paying.
Step 4
Get a gross-to-net for one hire at your target salary with every line named: 24.8% social and 9% health on the employer side, 6.5% pension, 0.6% sickness and 4.5% health on the employee side, the CZK 2,350,416 social ceiling, wage tax at 15% then 23% above 36 average monthly wages, the CZK 30,840 basic credit. Then the EOR fee, the FX margin on CZK and any deposit.
Step 5
Read the contract template against the flexinovela: probation of 4 months or 8 for managers, notice of 2 months running from delivery, severance of 1 to 3 months' average earnings by service, 4 weeks' leave, 13 public holidays, 60% sick pay for 14 days on the employer. For a non-EU hire, ask who files the employee card or Blue Card and how long the last one took.
How to Choose the Right EOR Provider
When evaluating EOR providers, consider these critical factors: compliance track record (zero violations is non-negotiable), transparent pricing (watch for setup fees, termination costs, and currency conversion markups), country coverage in your target markets, customer support quality (24/7 availability and response times matter), and platform usability for both HR teams and employees.
Also assess local expertise (do they have in-country specialists?), benefits administration capabilities, payroll accuracy (late payments damage employee relationships), contract flexibility (minimum commitments and exit terms), and technology integrations with your existing HR tech stack.
Don't overlook scalability (can they grow with you from 5 to 500+ employees?), data security (GDPR compliance and SOC 2 certification), and customer reviews from companies similar to yours. The cheapest option often becomes expensive when compliance issues arise or service quality suffers.
